Google’s digital payment app Google Pay has launched many new features on its platform. These features will be useful to customers during the Corona epidemic. The support of the Nearby Stores feature has been enabled in the payment app. This feature has been made available for 35 cities of the country.
This feature was launched last month and has been released for Android devices. The company gave this information on Wednesday. Customers will also be able to book cooking gas cylinders from HP Gas, Bharat Petroleum and Indane through Google Pay. Both Android and iOS users will now be able to book and pay through the app.
Nearby stores feature can be seen in Google Pay within the Business and Bills category. Through the Nearby Stores feature, users will be able to get some information such as location distance of the store, working time and category, general stores and drug stores. Apart from this, listed businesses will also be able to highlight the goodies available in their stock.
Google has also informed that users will also be able to check whether social distancing is being followed in the store. In such a situation, with the help of this new feature, users will be helped to remain safe during the corona epidemic.
Google Pay has said that users of Mumbai will also be able to see that the store is not in the Containment Zone. At present, the Nearby feature has been made available in 35 cities. This includes Hyderabad, New Delhi, Gurugram, Kolkata and Chennai.
Other cities include Ahmedabad, Ajit Singh Nagar, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Ernakulam, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Indore, Kanpur, Kochi, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Mysore, Nagpur, Navi Mumbai, Noida, Patna, Pimpri Names of Chinchwad, Prayag Raj, Ranga Reddy, Sahibzada, Secunderabad, Surat, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam are also included.
Apart from these, the Corona Virus Spot has also been launched in the payment app. In this, the latest safety guidelines of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare are provided to the users.
