The whole process of encryption and decryption is called cryptography. Cryptography technology is used for any information shared between two people, no any third person can read without your knowledge. Types Of Encryption or Cryptography:
There are two types of encryption. The first is Symmetrical encryption and second is Asymmetrical Encryption.
- Symmetrical Encryption:
Symmetrical encryption has only one key to encrypt and decrypt. Being a single key, the user who encrypts the data in this process has to share the decrypted key with all the users to whom he sends the information. That is why it is also called Share Encryption.
- Asymmetrical Encryption:
In asymmetric encryption, both the encryption key and the decryption key are different. One is for Key encryption and the other for Key decryption. In such an encryption process, the user keeps the encryption key and shares the decryption key publicly with all the users to whom it sends the information. This process of encryption is also called Public key Encryption.
